Nick Vincent, MS

Nick Vincent joined the Office of Emergency Management in March 2025 and has over 20 years of experience in public safety. Before joining UNC Charlotte, he served as the Safety and Emergency Management Coordinator at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, where he redesigned and developed the emergency management and continuity program, including the creation of a Virtual Emergency Operations Center (VEOC).

Vincent holds the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®) credential from the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) credential through DRI International. He is a United States Air Force veteran and a graduate of Western Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Homeland Security and Disaster Management from Liberty University.
